TROON WINEMAKER'S DINNER IN SILCOX HUT, AT 11,000 FEET, VIA SNOWCAT

  • Timberline Lodge 27500 E Timberline Road Government Camp, OR 97028 United States (map)

Troon Vineyard is dedicated to the pursuit of “Good Times & Fine Wines.” Dick Troon planted this vineyard, one of the first in the Applegate Valley, in 1972. With the guidance of the Martin family, this stunning estate has grown to 100 acres with over 40 acres of grapes planted. The continued commitment to sustainability combined with the relentless drive to improve vines and wines, has propelled Troon Vineyard as a leading producer in Oregon. Known for their signature Zinfandels and unique blends, they are also pioneering varietals such as Vermentino and Tannat.

Timberline Lodge Executive Chef Jason Stoller Smith honed his food and wine pairing skills during the ten years he spent cooking in the Willamette Valley wine country prior to his tenure at Timberline. The six-course menu he’s created for this friendly collaboration highlights how a perfect pairing brings out the subtleties of the wine and enhances the overall experience. Add the magnificent setting of Silcox Hut, and you’ve got an evening that plays to all five senses.

$225.00 per person includes dinner, wine, snowcat transportation to Silcox Hut, and gratuity. Seating is limited to 24 lucky participants.
