The Edgewater Hotel Bar is one of our favorite places to visit for sunset, and on summer Thursdays to watch the sailboat races in Elliot Bay. The Six Seven Lounge features live music every Friday and Saturday night. There is no cover and it is first-come, first-serve (note: summer nights can get crowded with cruise ship visitors). Check the hotel's website for band lineup details. The mountain-modern designed lounge is enveloped by windows that open and offer stunning views of Elliot Bay. The Beatles once stayed at this waterside hotel and reportedly fished right out their hotel room window!
If it is a sunny day outside, consider strolling through Olympic Sculpture Park before you head to Six Seven. Start at the top of the park at the Western and Broad Street intersection and wind your way down to the water and then walk South (for about 15 minutes) until you run into The Edgewater Hotel, which will be on your right. The Olympic Sculpture Park is one of my favorite places in the City to view the Olympic Mountain Range in all her glory!
